Empty sac? 8 weeks 3 days

I am projecting to be 8 weeks 3 days. Went in for an abdominal ultrasound and saw an empty sac. Has this happened to anyone else? I feel like I should have seen something at this point....have had sore boobs and nausea on off throughout the day for 2 weeks now no bleeding.

Unless you're thinking your 3 weeks ahead then you actually are, I would say see your doctor soon. Sounds like a blighted ovum, I've had this. I'm so sorry. hopefully you're just wrong on the dates or ovulated later than you thought.

You may have ovulated and implanted later or it could be a blighted ovum. I’m sorry you’re going through this. Make an appointment with an OB.

it's true that you may not be as far along but I hated my doctors being so "overly positive" to me.  I went in and saw an empty sac measuring 5 weeks when I should have been 7. They told me they think I'm just early but I knew deep down I wasn't that far off with my dates....  the next day I started bleeding.  two days later it was a confirmed MC.  I really really hope yours does not go the way mine did❤❤ but if it does please know it is not your fault and don't be afraid to talk to us on here❤ best wishes love❤

Was the US done transvaginally? If not it’s possible they couldn’t see anything but a sac. Or you might not be as far along as you think.
