Doubting him mixed signals

So I’ve been seeing this guy for about two months? We got into a little arguement and he called me over on Sunday to talk it all out. He talks about meeting my parents, my siblings, even brought me around his family. But his text pattern is strange? In the beginning he was constant.. now it’s dwindling. We have loads of fun in person but i don’t really get him when I’m away from him... I don’t want to seem needy and annoying but it’s so simple to just say hey not today.. what should i do? Sunday was great but i need consistency in my life lol ...
