Have you ever experienced sexual harassment/assault while clubbing?

I went clubbing for the first time, and was shocked and disgusted at the amount of times me or other people were grouped/harassed. How many others have experienced this?

There was one time at a night club a guy kept trying to dance with my friend who was pretty intoxicated, I was DD so IUD was sober. I kept turning her to the other side of me while we were dancing and he just kept going for it and putting his hands all over her. I asked him to stop and he flat out told me no so I turned her again. He then walked away. I thought it was over but I was wrong he came back with a friend to dance up on me and I refused, then the guy that was trying to get at my friend pushed my face back so I slapped the shit out of him knocking off his glasses. He then puffed up his chest like he was going to fight me so I did the same. His friend rushed him away from me and the bouncers came in. They they knew me since my friend and I were regulars and kicked his ass out. Friends have to look out for each other.

The first and ONLY time I have been to a club I was just walking in with my group of friends and somehow I got stuck behind a few people while my group and boyfriend were in front and this huge guy literally grabbed me by the hips and my boyfriend attacked him and the security got all in it and arrested them both but let my boyfriend go because they knew he was trying to protect me. But they took the other guy to jail for assault. Never going to another one

my friends and I were out clubbing for my birthday and we were all pretty drunk and this guy had me pushed to the wall and was dancing and kept trying to kiss me, even after I said several times that I dont kiss people I dont know. he then offered me money because i was "dancing like a good little whore for him" and I was finally able to get my friends attention and we went to the bathroom to get away.

It’s pretty common. Every time I go raving (which is rare anyway but still), me and my friends book a VIP section so we don’t have to deal with things like that. Unfortunately, most men tend to have a lack of respect for women that go raving and it doesn’t help that they have liquor in them so they lose all composure.
