Need everyone’s opinion, girls help

So my boyfriends been going trough a hard time recently and he’s been getting mad and snapping a lot and I want to do something nice for when I see him tomorrow evening. He’s not the sensitive type and wouldn’t like a letter or anything he’s an awkward one😂. But I really love him and wanted to do something like decorate up my room cute or make stuff but can anyone help me out I’m broke so I’ve gotta deal with stuff I’ve got right now . Like create cool mood lighting or like a den thing or any other suggestions need to think of something fast??? Thankyou x
