Advice after injections

So my poor baby is so unsettled after his injections. He was given some Calpol just prior to having them done and is due two more doses throughout the night. I have been doing skin to skin and I held him in the shower. I've tried feeding but he doesn't seem interested (not like him at all). He is sleeping again now, but he won't stop screaming when he is awake. Is there anything else I can do? It's breaking my heart.
