What is the difference and where do you categorize yourself?

I’m insecure and jealous 😂. It’s definitely my worst personality trait. Here’s how I’d describe the difference 
Jealousy = you want what the other person has (their house, body, car, personality, etc.) 
Insecurity = it’s more a sense of personal inadequacy (you don’t feel good about your house, personality, body, etc. but aren’t comparing)

I’m super insecure and jealous 🤦🏻‍♀️. Infertility made me realize just how awful I am at dealing with insecurity and jealousy. Even now that I have a baby I’m overwhelmed with jealousy with I see pregnant women and avoid women who may become pregnant. I think I’m both jealous of them and insecure that I don’t get pregnant easily

And i think insecurity can bring on jealousy, and vice versa (though it is not always that)

Right now I’m insecure about myself because when I get pregnant I loose weight EVERYWHERE except my belly 🤦🏻‍♀️. Like skinny legs and arms funny looking butt and my back gets all wide. It happened my first pregnancy and now it’s happening again.

I’m insecure but not jealous at all. For example, if I seen boyfriend checking out someone. It’s my fault and I express my anger inward rather than getting upset with him or this other person. I think the main difference between the two is how you express it.

I wouldn’t consider myself to be a very jealous or insecure person, but do have moments where I feel both. Sometimes I want for things that others have, but it isn’t overwhelming, and I don’t feel consumed by it. I would say I feel insecure at times as well, especially while pregnant. However, overall I’m pretty secure, and don’t feel burdened by jealousy frequently.
