Menstrual cup for camping?

I do civil war reenacting during the summer, it usually 3 days at a time. Sometimes we have access to a restroom and sometimes only potro-pottys. Any ideas on how or if I should use my cup for these events? I could just use tampons but its hard to change them in my 1860s dress.

if you do, make a bathroom kit with enough water to rinse the cup, lots of wet wipes for your hands and in case of blood getting around (or poops lol), any period gear you need (id suggest pantiliners and emergency tampons), an extra plastic bag if you decide to give up on using the cup. i prefer keeping extra tp as well, nice tp from home. its also good to have a strap on the bag. personally i dont really go camping without a bathroom bag anyway, period or not. personally i dont know if i would take a cup on such a trip. it just seems more of a hassle than its worth and the conditions arent very sanitary.

I would say just make sure you have enough clean water to rinse it with, but also bring backup tampons if you change your mind.
