Does sex delay getting your period?

So I was supposed to get my period today but I didn’t and my boyfriend and I had sex. But before that on Sunday we did too and technically I was sup to get it Monday but I never do (I’m on the pill). But does this happen to any one else? Because it’s starting to stress me out a little bit but I might be over reacting bc it is only Tuesday.
