Curious to know but ashamed

Ok ladies so my cousin and I were having a conversation about her sex life and somehow she ended up on the conversation on anal. I'm not very active or even open sexually but somehow I get embarrassed talking about sex life. She explained to me how comfortable she was sexually with herself and her sex life. My question is to you how do you become comfortable enough to express yourself sexually and do women really enjoy anal?? I think it's weird and uncomfortable but I want opinions on it because I am very ashamed of my sex life and how shy I am
