Birth story! 40 weeks 3 days

I had an ob appointment Wednesday morning and I was 4 cm. She stripped my membrane and said your having her today or tomorrow. I laughed but than I instantly had contractions. Went to l&d; at 230 and was sent home to walk and see if they get stronger. Went back at 6 and while they were waiting for a decision from the on call doctor my water broke. I went from a 4.5 to a 6 instantly. By the time I was in a room I was a 10 cm. They gave me an epidural and let me rest so baby could come down. I started pushing at 8 pm. She got stuck and at 1ish the doctor decided to cut me and used a vacuum to avoid an emergency c section. She arrived at 1:15 am. I’m sore and tired but doing surprisingly well! She’s such a good baby. After everything I went through I decided not to breath feed out of pure exhaustion and soreness. She’s been doing awesome with bottles and everyone around me has been able to help us.
