So, my first two pregnancies I had to be induced at 37 and a half weeks due to pre eclampsia. The second induction was a piece of cake compared to the first. I’m now 37+1 with my third, and no signs of pre eclampsia this time (yay!) So if all is well, I’ll be waiting to go into labor on my own.. My question is, what are my chances of going over 40 weeks with this being my third pregnancy? I’ve been having some period-like cramping and lightning crotch, and baby has dropped, cervix was softening at last appt (36 wks).. I’m so excited to not have pre E this time, but I am NOT excited to possibly be pregnant for another month! Anyone have experience they’d like to share??
