Do you let your little one have free range to play in the tupperware/container cupboard

My husband wanted to get a baby lock on the cupboard so our lo couldn't play in there cause he didn't want to clean them up every time. but I said "No,all little ones have a container/tupperware cupboard she's allowed to play in there, that's her one cupboard in the kitchen. So ladies and gents. What do you do?

Yup! She has her one cabinet, and it is the only one she opens. It just has our plastic food storage containers and her old bottles. It is kind of annoying to keep having to pick it up, but I don’t mind if it makes her happy! 😄

No. We have a baby gate up in the kitchen because it’s very small and we have the cat food in there.

My baby has free reign in the kitchen. He plays with the Tupperware, the pots and pans, the canned goods, anything except the cleaners. He plays, practices cooking with us, and at the end of the day he helps us clean it all up. He took it out so he knows where it goes, we play the Barney clean up song and he thinks it’s a good time.

Mine are not allowed in the kitchen except to walk through to get upstairs. They get into way too many things. Easier to just gate it off.

No. My daughter has an empty cupboard in the kitchen though that she piles everything into and plays with if that counts 😂

Yes and no. I didn’t lock the kitchen cupboards but I made an entire section “Dylan friendly “. I put bright (removable) pictures on the drawers or cupboards he’s allowed to go in.

Yeah we have a Tupperware cabinet! If he’s in that one, he’s not worried about what’s happening anywhere else in the kitchen or trying to get his fingers on the stovetop.
