Period on the Pill

How do periods usually work on the pill? This is my first month on it and I’m a little confused. Once I start taking the “break” pills, how long after that should my period start? I took them at the same time ever night and had my boyfriend wearing a condom every time. So I do not believe pregnancy is the issue. I used to start at the exact same time each month before I went on the pill. I am only one day late, and took my third “break” pill last night. How long does it usually take?
