gynocoligist for child or regular doc?

my daughter is 8 she recently came to me saying her lady parts hurt her so I looked and it's clear that something isn't right so my question is does she her regular doctor or a gynecologist? her doctor is a Male and I dont feel comfortable with him seeing her, and dont know if shes comfortable with him seeing her lady parts, i dont care if my doc is Male if I feel a certain way I can Express myself and say no I dont want her to think that because hes her doctor she has to feel comfortable. I'm just unsure how to go about this

Thanks everyone for your concerns i should've clarified myself instead of putting "something wasnt right" I didn't mean it like i thought sexual abuse.. what happened was she hurt herself on the trampoline where when she fell threw the springs the mat rubbed and gave her what looked like a rug burn, she didn't tell me when it happened because she said it didn't hurt up until that night. so doctor said she was ok and it would clear up.
