How old were you when you got married?

I was 30. My husband was 31. We met at 29 and 30 so it’s not like getting married sooner was really an option. Everyone is different as to when they are ready.

I had just turned 20 the first time I got married. He didn't trust me even though I wasn't allowed to leave his side. Thought his attitude would change if we got married. regretted it within 2 weeks. he accidently left up beastiality porn and then I searched thrpughy laptops history and found a bunch of other illegal porn... He said he'd change and I tried for another year but finally told him it was over.
Moved back in with my mom, a couple years later I met up with a guy that I moved in with quickly. Within a year we decided to hike the Appalachian trail together! Didn't make it too far lol we went to a Rainbow Family Gathering, had a nice acid trip, then went to stay with his mom & get jobs. Two days into my job and I had to quit. So sick I couldn't get out of bed for weeks. Turned out my birth control failed and we were going to be parents! We got married at our daughters 1st birthday party. Trolls themed 😁 Can't regret the first marriage as it led me to my beautiful life now!

I was 25 when I'd gotten married. I would have liked to have gotten married younger to be honest but I'd only met my husband 8 months prior to marriage. My husband was 35 so I did ask what took him so long to find me! Haha. He said he was waiting for me to mature. 😐😂
I think any time after hitting 18 is fine for marriage as long as you've got your life in order (financially stable and happy in the relationship). Realistically you'd have to be like 22/23 to finish uni here and get a job with decent earnings. Otherwise you'd have to work for a few years first to collect savings before starting a family.

I married my husband shortly after I turned 21. We’ve been together almost 13 years and married for almost 8. We have two beautiful kids, and one more on the way. I don’t at all regret getting married young. People had their comments, but I brushed that aside because I knew we were meant to be together. I couldn’t be happier.

I lived with my hubby for 4 years before we got married. I'm happy with my choice, we know each other so well that when we fight.. it's just a bad day. here's more than family, more than a best friend, more than a lover, more than my partner in crime, he's my husband. we don't have children besides pets and a boy who I had before we meet. he helped me raise my son, to him, my husband is Dad. I'm glad I met the man I call husband, he's the best thing in this world for me

Age and maturity are two different things. Not just your own personal maturity but your relationships maturity as well. We could have easily gotten married at 18 right out of high school. We didn't see the rush until we wanted to start a family. We built each other up, fixed hiccups in our relationship, and worked on making ourselves better people. Not that we weren't good people, but there's always room for improvement. He's my best friend. Sometimes he's an idiot. Sometimes he's an ass. Mostly he's the most wonderful person I've ever met. We know exactly what the other person is saying before they say it. Sometimes it's weird. We won't even be talking and he'll start to say "you know..." and I'll just finish is "you think your cousin and her boyfriend have a weird relationship too." haven't seen said cousin in months. totally random but it's like we are always on the same channel 😂
There's no perfect age for everyone to get married. Every single person is different. Every relationship is different.
