WIG FOR PROM ?!

My prom is coming up in June and i have no idea what to do with my hair! It’s very very long and curly and i definitely want to straighten it and maybe do a sleek hairstyle but i know the second i sweat my hair will become a frizz ball and curl back up. I was thinking about wearing a wig for prom so that the hair stays intact alllllll night. Ofc id get the most natural looking one but i don’t know if i should just risk straightening my own hair. (I DO NOT WANT AN UPDO) what should i do!?!
