Do you find the middle finger offensive?
If it’s used at me I’m a little shocked but I was recently thinking about and and thought “it’s just a finger. It would be totally different if it was your thumb rather than your middle finger.” I also heard that in Shakespeare’s time biting your thumb at someone was the equivalent of putting the middle finger up at someone today. Do you find the middle finger offensive and do you think that over time people won’t find it offensive?
