do you have to have living children to be considered a mom?

becca

I've seen so many posts (not on here but other places) saying that if you haven't been through labor then you're not a mom. I completely disagree. some people who cant have children on their own could adopt a child and they're still a mom. a couple could just agree to have animals, theyre still a mom. a woman who has had a miscarriage, you're still that child's mother. a woman who had a child but they passed suddenly, you're still their mom. pregnant women are still mothers. I hate the saying "oh since you're pregnant then mothers day doesnt count for you." no matter the circumstance, all moms deserve to be recognized. what do you think?
