hit in belly at 18 weeks?

I’m 18 weeks tomorrow and last night my fiancé accidentally elbowed me in my belly. my baby was kinda sticking up at the time so that made me worried. I’ve been feeling him move around almost every night since 16 weeks... today I haven’t felt anything at all. Should I call my doctor? I know movement isn’t super normal at this time but I’ve been feeling him often and also drank a few sodas today and haven’t felt anything. any advice? Thank you

Always call your doctor if you’re worried.
Better to call and be ok than to regret not calling.

It’s very common to not feel consistent movement until 28w. Wouldn’t be worried at all. At 18 weeks your baby has a crazy amount of room still. Most moms don’t even feel movement that early

Call right away if there is change in movement !

In general if you are used to feeling movement and all of a sudden you don’t (or significantly less that normal) then I’ve been told to first lay on my side while drinking something sugary for an hour and see if anything changes and then if nothing changes to call and they’ll probably send me in to L&D; for monitoring. If I were you I’d call your OB though just to see what they say.
