I want to move to Washington because I can afford to live on my own there and the scenery is beautiful...plus my SO has family there. I know my side won't like it but I'm about as burnt out on Texas as I can be.

How do I start the process? Is there a moving check list? I've never moved states before and I'm nervous yet excited. I've never done anything for " me" in my life and I think this is a good step in the right direction.

Obviously my SO would come with me, we'd live together and it would go from there..plus he knows the area. My mother moved countries to be with my dad and I don't know if she will be happy with my idea..but I like I said, I'm tired of Texas.
