How do you handle a rough day with spouse?

Yesterday was just not our day. Constant bickering and I hate It because now today I feel all down. We are fine now but I can tell he’s still irritated. I’m hoping when we are both done work It will be a fresh start. Do you have random days like this? How do you handle It?

I usually just hang out in the bedroom, watch TV and avoid.. I'm someone who likes to be Left alone when I'm in a mood and will often sleep it off and be over it by morning

Sometimes you’ll have days. Sometimes it will go for a couple of days. This is usually a sign that you guys need space. 
Go out and go shopping for the day, maybe take a girl friend. Let him stay home and play games if that’s his thing. Sometimes it’s just good to decompress from each other.

We usually get to a point where we have to walk away from each other. He goes in the kitchen and I go in the living room, whatever, just so we can give each other space. He can get over something rather quickly whereas I take a little more time. I usually just ask him to give me more time if I need it. Once we’re calm then we talk it out.

Usually he plays fortnite and by the time he’s done playing his mood is completely changed. Lol so that’s when I decide to talk it out.

Talk it out. That awkwardness isn't going to go away on its on and he may still be stewing over something that he needs to get out.
