Do you believe these appetite suppressors could help prevent binge eating/bored eating, or are they dangerous in regards to causing eating disorders?
What are your thoughts?

it sounds like both. lots of things can be abused by people, which i can definitely see happening with these, but they could also be very helpful to others. if they even work that is, sounds like they’re made by one of those ridiculous tea companies.

I don’t think these cause eating disorders as much as reinforce that there’s quick ways to lose weight and be healthy. And these aren’t it. 
People want to cut out working out and eating healthy because it’s hard so they are drawn to things like this. 
EDs are much more complex then an unhealthy weight and desire to lose it all and be skinny. A lot of times they’re just about control and even that is a blanket statement. They’re different for everyone.

I hate any of these fad diet lines like fit tummy because all they offer is a quick fix. You can’t just drink tea, or eat lollipops and expect to be skinny. Although, I don’t think these things promote or cause eating disorders. I don’t think it takes people very long to realize all these products are pretty bogus.

I think they’re marketed towards insecure, older teen girls. I don’t think they’re necessarily marketed towards people with binge eating disorders. I am not a fan of something like that anyway.

I feel like it can go either way.
I take supplements that contain them when I’m not at work, otherwise I binge eat out of boredom all day long. It’s also the only time that I can successfully take these supplements, because they do require a meal to be eaten with them, along with a 16oz glass of water to be drank with. 
When I’m at work, I eat toast/snacks and drink protein shakes and water. It’s terrible but most days I don’t have time to think much less eat. 
Those with ED in my experience don’t like talking about them, so I couldnt see someone actively using this. I can see how they are problematic to them though.

I think if they’re used correctly it could be ok, but however they rarely are and they’re so widely marketed and sold it seems as if it’s encouraging eating disorders

Lets be real-who is following accounts like these? Not adults that are in-tune with their bodies that are trying to work on a healthier lifestyle. No, it’s kids who have grown up in a world of impossibly skinny models and social media influencers. These people know this and yet they reportedly try and sell weight-loss powders, teas, and now lollipops? To insecure young females? Not that adults can’t enjoy lollipops but come on. These products are targeted towards young girls and anyone that argues that is a fool. I am disgusted by the people that model these products just for the money.

I think they can definitely enable people with eating disorders. I read something more elegant about the effects these have but I can't remember it at all. I might see if I can find it. I'm pretty sure it was interesting but who knows?
Personally, I’d abuse these and not eat for as long as possible because I'm a goblin and therefore wouldn't buy them, but, used by people capable of not doing that I'm sure they're fine.

it's not healthy to suppress one's appetite, which is a natural and important thing we are supposed to have. 
also, I don't know if those candies work the same way as Adderall (which also can suppress appetite), but once that shit is out of your system, I imagine you will just be REALLY hungry later in the day. I can't eat much while on my meds but once those four hours are up I feel like I need to eat a horse.
