Is the gvt. watching through your phone/laptop cam, listening to Siri/Google Home/Alexa, listening to ohonecalls, reading messages, etc..? (my original post was deleted b/c it was anonymous)

We have a Google home in our house. We also have 2 cell phones, a laptop and a tablet. My husband and I had a conversation about getting a new mattress, that's it. A CONVERSATION. We never searched anything. Never went further than talking about it. The next day every single ad we saw on Facebook, Instagram, everywhere was about mattresses. One specifically said "don't give up on finding that new mattress just yet"

Absolutely watching. I hope they only watch through my selfie cam. All they're ever going to see is my fat ass stuffing my face ✌️😂

Edward Snowden already leaked this.... after 911 the patriot act was passed granting gov access to spy on American & foreigners. “Section 215 allows the government to obtain a secret court order requiring third parties, such as telephone companies, to hand over any records or other “tangible thing” if deemed “relevant” to an international terrorism.” 🤷🏼‍♀️

How many people do you think work for the government? 
Sure, if you do something suspicious like buy a book on how to make bombs you'll probably get put on a list. As for regular people who browse the internet, google blood eagles and watch porn... I don't think the government cares.

The govt (U.S.)can and does do this, legally and sometimes extra-legally. They don't spy on average Americans unless they've been flagged, but certain names, words, phrases or behaviors are what gets flagged. When it's done by A.I. innocent people can get caught up in investigations for terrorism or other crimes. There are watchers of the watchers, so even the spies get spied on to try and keep this from happening, but it absolutely still does. 
Everyone should be more worried about Google, Facebook, and hackers because they do like to get all up in your life and find out everything about you and your habits and they can be forced to share this with the govt or sell it to a third party.
