Epidural didn’t work
I had an epidural with my first baby, and I got such painful electric shocks down my leg. They tried again and it hardly dulled the pain for ages. I had to have a c-section and I could feel sharp pinching so they had to put me to sleep because it wasn’t working enough even with a higher dose.
Chances are I’ve got some sort of nerve blocking issue and it won’t work second time around either?
