How’d you get BFP?

Question

I know that the OPKs say to have sex within the next 48 hours, but what was your experience? Did you BD every day? Every other day? For three days in a row when you got a positive ovulation test? What was your tactic? I want to try what gets most people preggo this time around!

Basically when we stopped trying. Doggy style and only time during that ovulation. Also it was after I thought I’d already ovulated.

I know it's hard but it happened when I stopped OPKing. We went on a trip for our anniversary and did a lot of BD because we wanted to and I strongly believe the time taken to relax and actually enjoying sex without conceiving about a baby is what led us to a BFP.

Honestly ours happened the first month I tried to relax a little and the first month we tried preseed. The months before I was adamant that we make sure we have sex at least every other day the whole cycle. (I know that's crazy..but it's true.) it wore both of us out since we weren't used to timing our sex life and it made things less romantic. The month we conceived we agreed to just track ovulation and we will just make sure to do it somewhat often the 5-6 days leading up to when I think I'll ovulate and 1-2 days after. We ended up having sex outside of that "fertile window" a couple times just because we wanted to but we had sex about 4 times in the week my ovulation test was positive. The day I got my positive ovulation test we had sex once in the morning and then once the next night. We also tried preseed lubricant for the first time that month during the fertile window. So not sure if it was just a conincidence but preseed worked excellent for us, relaxing a bit on our sex schedule worked and making sure we had sex on the day of and after my positive ovulation test worked.

We BD day before my peak.... i got a positive so we BD, next day it was darker... but we only BD 1 time that fertile period and that did the trick 👌🏼

Tried every other day for 3 months, then the 4th month we BD’d twice in one day the day after the positive OPK and got pregnant. I had always read every other day is best because the sperm quality would be better. Well, I have the best baby ever so don’t listen to that logic! 😆

Every other day from cd 6-20. However on the day of pos opk we had sex twice that day and once the next then went back to every other day
