is milking your colostrum (six months preg) to prevent the leaking bad for your tits??

Generally it’s not recommended to express any milk/colostrum before 36 weeks as you can trigger premature labour, also the more you get out the more you will produce!
I had to start using breast pads at about 30 weeks to catch the leakage but was told it’s best to leave it be. 
I think the situation is different if you are already feeding a baby as your body continues to produce milk for them and then will change when your new baby comes.

I told my doctor that I’ve been leaking since about 20 weeks and she told me that’s completely normal but DO NOT try to make more come out. She didn’t give me a reason, just said to let them be. I’ve heard nipple stimulation induces labor so I assume that’s why.
