How messed up am i?

my boyfriend and I have struggled a lot with sexual temptation in the past, but in the last few months, we have been really good about not doing anything. we have never had actual sex, just fooled around. anyway, today I gave him a hand job and now I feel like I'm back to square one. What is wrong with me?

You’re a human being relying on your own strength in a battle that only God can win, that’s what’s wrong! The Word says to flee from temptation... FLEE, not skirt the line doing everything but the full sin. I recommend reading The Screwtape Letters asap. It will open your eyes to the spiritual battle raging on around you. It’s a super short book- I started and finished it today.
Remember, God gave us boundaries to protect us, NOT to torture us! He sees what we can’t see. Trust Him, spend time with Him, cry out to him, and please please flee from temptation! Don’t make the same son mistakes that so many of us have made! God bless ❤️

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you we are sexual creatures by nature and naturally we explore that side of us but God created boundaries for a reason I would suggest reading boundaries in dating it s a good read and would really help you. But at the end of the day if you feel ready to take that next step do that or if you really want to wait then stop giving in to temptation cool off for a little while and don’t do anything you feel you will regret

Sounds like you two could benefit from accountability partners? I'd also recommend no longer being in areas where things can get that far. I'd sit down and talk to your pastor/priest. You both messed up, but I don't think this should define either if you. If you or both of you want to follow a Christian perspective on this, then start putting the boundaries up, accountability and turn to someone you can trust.
