Stay or leave .

I been dating my bf for a couple years.. we live together. One issue. When we go out , I feel like we’re going out as friends. No PDA, no holding hands. Etc. i see other couples , and how happy they look compared to us. we argue sometimes . But other days it’s all good. I feel selfish by not leaving and moving on. It’s hard.. Just confused. I guess I’m afraid to leave him. I know most people will say to leave but I want to make it work. I know we can just don’t know how. Advise ? Comments? Same situation. ?
