Question

I was just wondering since I don’t have anyone I can talk to that’s going through this. How much sex should I be having I’ve read different things like only when ovulating or all the time. Any thoughts suggestions?

I've done a lot of reading up on getting pregnant and there is a lot of advice out there, but it seems the answers I consistently find most are that if you know when you ovulate to dtd every other day through ovulation day, and if you have no idea when you ovulate then dtd every other day from the end of your period up until the next cycle would begin. I also agree with what pp said about sperm surviving up to 5 days based on what I've read, so every other day may not be necessary, its just supposed to be ideal for having enough healthy sperm in there when the egg is available in order to give you the best chance to conceive. Have sex whenever you and your partner want!! Sperm can live in your body for up to 5 days days, so you don't have to make it a daily chore and I would recommend not--it kind of loses the fun when it's too scheduled.
