When your SIL takes your baby name
My husband told me on our second date that he wanted to name his son Hunter after his favorite author, Hunter S. Thompson. We’ve been TTC for over two years, and always said our first boy would be Hunter Stoudt (middle name of my grandfather).
My brother and SIL had their first child yesterday and hadn’t shared their short-list of names. Just found out they chose Hunter.
I’m excited to meet my nephew but can’t help but feel so saddened that the dream-baby that was so real to me won’t get to have his name.
