Hey I don’t know if this is the right group to post this but

My mom suffers from arthritis and muscle aches so she wants me to get her weed because apparently there’s a remedy with rubbing alcohol and weed to the area that’s hurting.

The problem is she doesn’t have any medical insurance and we are tight on money right now, so I was wondering has anyone ever heard about this? I mean I do know stories of people who do that but that’s in Mexico where my mother is from idk of any people who do that here in the US and how effective it is
