If i don’t want my baby daddy in my unborn child’s life, can i lie to him?

He was abusive, he told me to abort the baby and now he’s telling me he never said that and told me to keep it yet he refuses to be there for the pregnancy. Is it illegal for me to tell him i lost the baby or got rid of it, so he doesn’t know about it? He was horrible to me, and i don’t want him coming and going as he pleases.

I live in Tennessee, and have texts where i asked him to be involved and to talk about the baby and he never replied
