Help !

On Tuesday, I had my membranes swept. 1 hour later I had an ultrasound done and I started having contractions. Contractions lasted all day, lasting about 1 minuet and about 5 minuets apart. I was sent home at 11 pm, because I was only 1 and a half cm dilated. I was told I was in early labor. Contractions did not stop there. Now it’s the next day and my contractions were getting stronger. I end up going back to the hospital and was told I was only 2 and a half dilated, and that “real” contractions will change my cervix. I have been in pain all night long, with hardly any sleep. I don’t want to go back to the hospital to just get told that I’m not in labor, when my body is clearly telling me otherwise. I am exhausted and about to have a mental breakdown. I don’t know what to do. Contractions have slowed down a bit, and I have been passing my mucus plug in giant bits since then as well. I have planned to do a natural birth, but when is enough, enough?
