Inducing at a 1?

Help! Doc said my blood pressure was higher than normal today and since I’m due May 30 she said she would feel comfortable inducing me Tuesday the 29th the only reservation I’m having is that I’m only dilated to a 1. Has anyone been induced while only at a 1 and had a successful vaginal birth? 
She is worried that because my cervix isn’t progressing fast I could be at risk for a c section.

I was induced at a zero with my first and I’ll be honest, it was a miserable almost 3 full days, but we did still get to have a vaginal delivery. It really depends on how baby handles a longer labor, when your water breaks in the process, etc etc. You are technically at a higher risk for a c section probably, but that doesn’t mean it will happen.

I was induced at 37+4 due to pre-eclampsia. I was not dilated at all and my cervix was closed and posterior. I was still able to have a vaginal delivery, although it took 56 hours. The first 45 hours consisted of two rounds of cervadil overnight with pitocin during the day. They broke my water at 2cm and I delivered less than 12 hours later.

I was induced from 0 with my first and from 1 with my second and had vaginal births both times. The first time took 36 hours (the first 13 hours was softening and then the foley balloon). This time it was just shy of 24 hours (again, the first 12 was softening and foley).

I just got a leaflet about induction from my midwife today (getting induced on 2nd if he doesn't make an appearance before then). There's lots of different methods to being induced so don't worry about the finer details. I was only at 2cm last check and basing it off that I was told I was open enough to come in the morning and just have waters broken no need for me to come in the night before and get a suppository or anything!
