My engagement story 😍

We went into the city for one of our last ever dates by ourself before the baby comes, she’s due in 2 weeks!

So In the city we walked around, ate food, watched the Vivid lights and then the zoo had a big light show on so we caught the ferry over there & my god that was amazing!!!! 😍 so we are walking around just having fun, holding hands (unusual because we never do this but I didn’t think anything of it) and I was going around taking photos of all the animal sculptures because they were just amazing!

We were nearly to the end & walking up steep hills I just needed a rest, he was over looking the city at this point about 3 metres in front of me and told me to come have a look at the view, so I got up and I didn’t think anything of it I just thought it’s so pretty!

So I walked off to take some more photos of the zoo lit up and then we were cuddling for abit and kissing but nothing unusual as it was really cold and we were trying to warm up, though he was like saying things like how much he loves me but me being oblivious because he does that all the time didn’t realise he was trying to do it then (woops) so we keep walking and then his randomly walking over to this railing overlooking the light sculptures as well as the city lights he said ‘do you think this is like a leaning pole?’ I went over to lean on it and rest my back abit and I said yeah that works!

He just cuddled me and kept kissing me and im just thinking why are you being so cute tonight.

He starts saying he loves me so much, that I’m his whole world and bestest friend & that he can’t wait for our girl here and that he can’t wait to take her to the zoo when she’s older & then continuously kissing my forehead he says he wants to spend the rest of his life with me & says ‘babe?’ I was like yeah & looked up at him whilst still cuddling and he said i want to marry you & he was holding my ring I just cuddled him straight away and I couldn’t even speak... I think I said something like oh my god yesssss, he put the ring on and I was pretty much nearly crying but didn’t then I was saying how I couldn’t believe it & how beautiful the ring was & how I full thought he wasn’t going to do it any time soon & that I was so happy & I could tell he was just so happy himself then he told me how he rang my parents this morning to ask them for his blessing & I thought that was soo sweet! Even though we love with my parents that is definitely something that made my heart melt even more!

Funny thing is I was convinced that he wasn’t going to do it because we had spoke about it & every opportunity he had, he wouldn’t do it so I was 100% convinced that he wasn’t going to as before we left home he brought nothing else except his wallet so I full for cranky without showing him because I was convinced he wasn’t doing it that night but as the night went on I just forgot about it and was enjoying my

self so much that it didn’t even cross my mind. But honestly wouldn’t of asked for it to be better than what it was - Surprising, romantic and memorable!!!😍

I’m honestly on top of the world right now, I just cannot believe soon I will have the same last name as my best friend & daughter 😍 I am over the moon!!
