why am i bleeding

my boyfriend was fingering me on his bed, kinda roughly (but like not in a bad way, it was okay with me to be rough), and he noticed i was bleeding. it got on his bedsheets.

i don’t understand why i’m bleeding. i just had my period this month that lasted over a week. i’m on birth control, Gianvi specifically, and i just started that in April. i have ovarian cysts pretty often, which is why i’m on birth control. i don’t know. i’m crying and i’m upset and i’m embarrassed. he’s being super sweet about it but it’s still embarrassing.
