You can try for a girl if you have sex as far out from ovulation as possible. Girl sperm tend to be more hardy than boy sperm.

You’re body doesn’t say whether you have a girl or a boy, your mans does. You have one chromosome while he carries two: X and Y. And depending on which chromosome his sperm carries that wins the race, is what your having. You can’t do anything different to have a girl.

I’ve heard having sex 2-4 days before ovulation seals the deal for a girl because the x sperm move slower than the y sperm. And if you have sex the day of ovulation it’s a boy because the y sperm move faster and seal the deal. Rumor has it only though there is a theory out there if you google it.
