Bronchitis

My moms husband had the flu which turned into bronchitis, my mom isn’t sick but shes obviously in the same living space as him... they were around my grandparents yesterday and he’s still sick.. they all wanted to see my 3 month old today just my grandparents & my mom who aren’t sick yet anyways. Would you let them or is that still contagious... Im pretty unsure about how I feel I dont think bronchitis is contagious from what I’ve read online but need a second opinion. Sorry if this is a dumb question.
