relationship advice

I'm sorry for a long post but me and my boyfriend of 7 1/2 years mutually agreed to break up. We have a 5 year old together. we have trust and respect issues. We have both messed up in the past and I forgave him and he says he's forgiven me but he will still bring it up every now an then. I plan on moving out as soon as I get on my feet. We agreed to start out as friends so we can gain trust and respect back for each other. He says I have jealousy issues which I feel like I do. It's just hard because I want to be with him so bad. I want a future with him and eventually another child. I'm just looking for advice. i need help becoming happy with myself.
