Water has been broken a week and 4 days!

help! I’m 33 weeks & 3 days. Okay guys so, my water broke last Thursday night. I came to the hospital. They admitted me. Gave me an iv with antibiotics, steroid shots to mature her lungs quicker & then started me on oral doses of antibiotics. My doctor said they wanna keep me here until I’m 36 weeks or more. But one of my nurses who is super cool said there really isn’t a reason for them to not induce me or not send me home since I have a very limited risk for infection. Have you guys ever heard of this or had it happen to you?
