Brazilian waxing?

im planning to get one for my birthday... can anyone tellme what to expect? is it awkward? should i wait to shave a few days before so im prickly? or not shave so i have more than just prickle? how long is it going to hurt for?        hellpp??

Me and my sister get one every 4 weeks. Do not shave! Your hair should be at least an inch long. First time was uncomfortable but the pain is only for a few seconds. It’s bearable and worth it!!! I haven’t shaved down there in a year bc I love the Brazilian was so much. Barely have hair! You’ll love it! Let me know how it goes and your thoughts on it! 🤗🤗

I’ve been going for 8 months so far. I go to the same lady because I love her (I have tried two other ladies but I prefer my person). We chat about life, school, her kids etc. It’s not uncomfortable bc they have seen many different vaginas (they are use to it). Once you start going, keep going (you will get use to the pain and it will hurt less). It’s quick too (less than 25 minutes for me)

I'm about to get my 5th one next week! It's totally worth it. Call the place you'll be getting it done at because it may depend but most places want the hair at least the length of a grain of rice. Don't be embarrassed they have seen it all! They will tell you what to do like how to lay/position yourself. The first time will hurt the most but this also depends on your own pain tolerance. It happens very fast and the specialist will usually distract you by having a conversation. For me, my Brazilian waxed feel like the same sensation as getting my eyebrows waxed. Make sure the place is sanitary and has good reviews. Talk to your specialist about any concerns you may have.

Your hair has to be a certain length otherwise they won’t do it, since it has to be long enough to get pulled out with the wax. I wait 3-4 weeks for every Brazilian for myself; at that point it’s long enough to get yanked out but not too long where the pain would be excruciating. Approximately the length of your pinky nail is usually what I go by.
Your first time is going to be intense no matter what, but I recommend just taking a breather and try your best to go in relaxed. It’ll be worse if you’re tense 😬 
Also make sure they put a pre-wax oil on your before; that’ll help the wax stick to your hair and not as much on the skin. They’ll ask you to butterfly your legs and that part can be awkward because your labia are exposed to a stranger, but they’re professionals. They see that all the time so it’s not really a big deal 😎 Also, don’t be afraid to speak up! If the wax is too hot or you need to take a second, do so. You’re paying good money for a service and you should be as comfortable as possible.
