Most disappointing Dr visit

I just went in for my non stress test and final appointment with my OB. I am 40+1 right now and he wanted to induce me Monday the 4th. My son has his 4th grade send off (which no one else can attend) on the 5th and I have an appointment with the surgeon to schedule o have my gallbladder out on the 6th. Now I am waiting on a call back to see if he will possibly induce on the 1st or if I have to wait until the 7th. I feel so discouraged! I went her to come on her own but my doctor can’t even perform a membrane sweep because my cervix is not favorable. I think the hormones may be getting to me because I just want to cry.
