Pp problems

Anyone else struggle to urinate after having a baby? I had my first baby 3 months ago & for some reason my bladder isn’t the same.. when I was at hospital I told the nurse I couldn’t pee but had to & she would tell me not to worry & she’ll turn on the sink water & have me stare at it & for some odd reason that would help me pee lol .. but now 3 months pp most of the time I have to the urge to pee I struggle for it to come out ... am I the only one?
