Why dont Prenatals contain the vitamins needed?

When did prenatals take out the Iron and Calcium needed for pregnant
 women?
Out of curiosity I read the vitamins listed and then realized Ive been missing some much needed ones.
I had to go buy extra vitamins to take daily and Im dumbfounded.
.... it shouldnt be allowed to be called a prenatal vitamin if it doesn't contain all the vitamins needed for prenatal vitamins. lol
which prenatals do you take? and does it supply you with your daily intake needs?

gummy vitamin don't contain Iron because it is dangerous to take too much. If a child were to get into them it they can overdose on iron. My nutritionist switched me to either a capsule or a chewable tablet.

I have been told that gummy vitamins won’t contain it because they look enticing to children and could easily cause overdose in kids

Some have taken things out to be digested better or so that they're chewable. I have found no problem popping into Walgreens and finding some vitamins that contain everything. I just take with food.

I take Honest Co prenatals, the DHA supplement, and now a calcium/d3 as well. The iron in there is decent so I don’t supplement that. I highly highly recommend finding a non gummy vitamin, they have way better nutrient profiles. Even better if you have a raw whole food based one.

Why dont Prenatals contain the vitamins needed?
