Does the Internet trigger your social anxiety?

Sometimes when I'm posting things online, I get nervous. Or when people comment on my posts, I worry about what they will say. I always worry I'll become a public enemy or something. Lol. That's why I post some things anonymously. Anyway, does this happen with anyone else's anxiety?

Sometimes. It’s likely part of the reason I rarely post anywhere. And when people start following me, especially people I know, sometimes I stop altogether. 😑 I’ve made a couple of Instagrams for artistic endeavors and such but once people I know catch on I start to get self-conscious. It’s weird, like I would think the support would be nice, but any inkling of any kind of attention and I get super anxious. I want to share things, especially my passions, but I want to be anonymous most of the time.

I get kinda anxious before I go on Instagram, I don’t really know why. Even more so when I post something, leave the app, and reopen it to see the likes/comments. It’s dumb of me to care but it is what t is lol

I don't post very often at all and I very often type something then delete it and don't post it. 🤷‍♀️
