My wits end with MIL
Okay so let me start by giving a little bit of background into my in laws personalities. They are the type of people who offer to watch your dog then decide as you're leaving that she's too much of a hassle. They upgrade thier house as a "gift" to their children, even though it doesn't benefit their kids. Now, all this I can deal with, I don't like how selfish they are but I only see them a few times a year so whatever. But, now that I'm pregnant, I'm going to freaking kill them. They keep offering to help then taking it back, but my MIL bitches constantly that I don't accept her help. They want me to move in with them while my husband's away, but I already moved in with my own parents who have 3x the space, my pets are comfortable here, and I can both help mu mom as she nannies my niece and nephew and also have her help 24/7. They know all of this and have suggested a compromise where I just spend some weekends with them, but they live 4 hours away and I'm 8 months pregnant. They yell at my husband constantly about money, even though they're in insane debt and we only have my school loans. Now, my MIL texted me telling me to move down with my SIL while her husband is at school because it's closer to my husband's training, there are good doctors, and my niece won't have to be in day care while my SIL works 10 hour days.... So she expects me (note she didnt ask, just told) to move at 8 months pregnant to a new state (which I already did at 20 weeks so I could stay with my parents ) to literally nanny my niece with no support whatsoever except my SIL who works all day and my husband who would still be 6 hours away..... So, I told her no and suggested she go down to visit to help out. To which she informed me she already told me she's saving all of her vacation time so she can come stay with me when the baby is born. She doesn't even ask, just tells, and honestly even if my parents were comfortable with her staying here, I'm not. I don't want my MIL to be here without my husband around plus my parents would be forced to cater to and entertain a guest, along with their recovering daughter and newborn grandchild. So not only do my husband and I have to explain to her that we are not telling anyone expect grandparents when I'm in labor and she is not allowed to inform anyone or post anything on any type of social media, that she is not welcome in the room during delivery or for at least an hour after due to skin to skin, but also that she can't just invite herself to live with my parents for 2 weeks. Like, I shouldn't have to explain and defend myself to her, but I'm forced to because she has no boundaries. I just want to cry and throat punch them all at the same time.
