HELP! Going back to work--morning routine advice?

Rachel

I go back to work next Monday after being off for 5 months. Our 5 month old is going to daycare, and my husband has drop-off and pick-up duty (I'll pick up once or twice a week). We are trying to figure out the best morning routine. Our situation is: I have to get up early (5:00am) to beat traffic and be in to work by 7:00. My husband works 5 minutes away from home and daycare is on his way to work. I am primarily breastfeeding and pumping, and supplement with formula. Baby currently sleeps 8:30pm - 8:00am. Can any other mommas offer any insight on the two options we are playing with? Option A: I get up and ready for work, and wake up baby once I'm ready at around 5:45. Nurse her, get her changed and dressed, and try to put her back to bed for an hour until my husband brings her to work. Option B: I get up in the morning and pump while I'm doing my hair, makeup, etc. I leave the pumped milk in a bottle, ready to go, and let my husband get baby up, dressed (I'd set out all of her clothes the night before), and feed her the bottle of milk I pumped earlier, all after he is ready for work so they can leave as soon as she is dressed and fed. I'm leaning toward Option B, because baby is sleeping so well, I don't want to compromise that (and risk her waking up at 5:45am on the weekends), and have to worry about getting her to go back to sleep in the morning before I leave. My only hesitation is that I feel a little guilty for not spending that extra time with her in the morning. Any insights, suggestions, etc?? Thank you! Pic of my munchkin for attention!
