Mastitis 😩??!! Need HELP

So I recently had gone to the emergency room with what I knew was a mastitis infection, my fever was 101 and my breast wanted to fall off. After being prescribed antibiotics and a day later I noticed a stringy white mucus like discharge coming from my breast during pumping?? Is this normal? And can I still use that milk???? I really couldn’t find any information. Just wanted to know if anyone had this and if I’m fine feeding my daughter from this breast still??
