Using an old friends child’s name?
Growing up, my best friend always told me she would name her first daughter Ella. Several years later her and her family moved out of state. We didn’t talk much (elementary school, before social media) but reconnected via Facebook and saw each other once in person in the last 20-25 years. She did have a daughter and named her Ella. She also had 2 other daughters and a son:)
So my question. Is it weird to consider the name Ella if we end up having a girl? Should I ask her? Or just decide to use it or not? We are trying to stick with E names and are having a hard time deciding on a girl one that we both like besides this.
