I’ve been holding my baby all day!
...but I’m not complaining. It would be nice to eat or use the bathroom without her crying, yes, but we’re rolling with it.
People say to let babies cry a little bit so they don’t expect to be held all the time but I cannot let my baby sit there and cry. She is 2 months and has never been one to make herself happy while sitting alone. Even to put her in a baby seat while I use the bathroom is a struggle. What do you do about this, though, other than let them cry? It seems to be getting worse. This is the first day I have literally not been able to put her down at all. I don’t mind right now but I will be going back to work in August and want her to be able to deal without me.
